Benihime. A work in progressby ~Awaken-Benihime

Artisan Crafts / Woodworking

Here's a picture of a version of Benihime I've been working on. After seeing a few variations of Benihime, many on DeviantArt I thought I'd make one myself.
I decided to use the same techniques as as Nic over at StudioHybrid.org [link]

I've currently had two weekends to do some work on it, and it's probably taken about 8 hours to get this far.
Next up is some more detail on the hilt, followed by sanding, primer and painting.

I've just finished the detail at the top of the hilt, the edging and flower design.
Just need to do a bit more sanding and detail at the bottom of the hilt and then it'll be ready for primer.

Haha, you're using that method too? Its troublesome but worth it, try using Chiok's specifications though, they help ALOT
